At Kitsap Adventist Christian School (KACS), we believe that true education develops the whole child: mentally, spiritually, and physically.
Located in a rural setting, convenient for the greater Kitsap area, KACS offers students in grades K-8 a rigorous academic curriculum in a nurturing environment. Our multi-grade classrooms motivate younger students towards academic advancement while older students develop leadership skills. Our smaller class size allows students to experience personalized instruction from our amazing teaching staff. We also offer co-ed sports, music education, handwriting instruction, weekly art classes, STEAM projects, visits to our onsite library and much more!
KACS is accredited by Washington State and the Adventist Accrediting Association and part of Adventist Education, which includes over 7,500 schools world-wide (the second largest private school system in the world) (1). According to a nationwide study, “In all grades, in schools of all sizes, students in Adventist schools outperformed the national average in all subjects.” (2) Of students who continue in the Adventist Education system through the academy (grades 9-12), more than 85% attend college with more than 80% successfully completing their degrees. Along with academic excellence, KACS’s goals include developing young people of outstanding moral character and fostering personal relationships with our Creator God. We reach these goals through our Bible-based holistic curriculum, bi-weekly chapels and student interactions with our caring staff. KACS provides a safe, fun and positive community environment for students to grow and learn.
Since 1945, KACS has been a ministry of the Bremerton (www.bsdacc.org) and Port Orchard Seventh-day Adventist Churches (www.portorchardsda.org). Students of all faiths are welcomed, accepted, and respected. KACS offers competitive tuition rates and an affordable before and after school care program that is available on campus from 6:30 AM until school begins and from dismissal until 5:00 PM. We also serve a delicious hot lunch two days a week.
