Science Saturday is the U.S. Naval Undersea Museum’s monthly community programming hosted on the first Saturday of the month, February through May. The program targets K-12 students and their caregivers. The intent is to not only provide an entry point for the public to learn about the museum’s artifacts and exhibits, but to also engage children with their caregivers in active learning and exploration and inspire creative thinking and problem solving.
Science Saturday activities range from water exploration to mechanical engineering, and encourage creativity, ingenuity, and fun! Visitors can stop by our education space between 10am and 2pm on Science Saturdays to try activities and experiments, and chat with an educator. Check out our Facebook page for the event details!
