Begin your holiday season by celebrating Peninsula Dance Theatre’s 50th year of our production of “The Nutcracker”, under the Direction of Mallory Morrison and Nicole Cisler. The Nutcracker is a beautiful classical ballet celebrated by millions around the world as a holiday tradition. Peninsula Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker is the longest running Nutcracker in Kitsap County and the only Nutcracker in the County that can be seen with live orchestra. The Peninsula Ballet Orchestra, conducted by Alan Futterman, will accompany the production at the Bremerton High School Performing Arts Center. All of the performers have been carefully selected from Peninsula Dance Theatre’s company and the Bremerton Dance Center studio. Peninsula Dance Theatre is also very proud of its community connections, and due to the popularity of this show, PDT is able to included several members of the community to take part in the production.

Saturday, December 6th at 2 pm and 7 pm
Sunday, December 7th at 3 pm

As the orchestra begins to play the overture, prepare yourself for an enchanting adventure as Clara (Grace Geske) and her handsome Nutcracker Prince (Phoenix Ridge), travel through the swirling snowflakes to the magical Kingdom of Sweets where they meet the Snow Queen. Performing the role of Snow Queen and Snow King is the dynamic duo, Anika Oishi and Zachary Cisler.  Vivian Van Hollebeke, will grace the stage in the highly coveted role of Sugar Plum Fairy, alongside Nathaniel Cisler as her Cavalier. Fritz, Clara’s mischievous little brother will be performed by Alexander Rew. Playing the role of Drosselmeyer, is a retired professional dancer from Richmond Ballet and Cincinnati Ballet, Jason Cisler. Jason, and his wife Nicole, PDT’s Assistant Artistic Director, are both dedicated to the art of dance, and are instructors at Bremerton Dance Center.

Both young and old can embrace the complete experience as the Peninsula Ballet Orchestra brings Tchaikovsky’s score to you, while the Peninsula Dance Theatre’s dancers bring this beautiful holiday ballet to life for you.
