Jog Your Dog, Cart Your Cat – PetsWALK Returns June 6th!
Kitsap’s favorite summertime event is back and bigger than ever! Join us for the ultimate family-friendly day of fun—PetsWALK, happening Saturday, June 6th—to benefit Kitsap Humane Society. This paws-itively purr-fect celebration features a 5K walk and run or a shorter one-mile route, both winding through beautiful downtown Poulsbo and ending in a waterfront festival packed with activities for the whole family.
Vendor booths. Animal information. Food trucks. Live music. Games and contests for all ages. Plus, adorable adoptable animals that would love to go home with you. It’s an amazing parade of pets and their people, all in support of the lifesaving work of KHS.
A Preposterous Number of Pooches!
You’ve never seen this many pets in one place! Bring your best buddy, whether it be a dog, cat, parrot, hamster, or serpents. Animals of all shapes and sizes are welcome to walk, run, or just wander the booths!
Is It Going to Get Goofy?
Of course! Enter your pets in the costume contest, the talent show, or the crowd-favorite “Wiggle-Butt” competition. Dress them up in silly clothes and oversize sunglasses. It’s pet-focused fun wherever you look!
A Sea of Vendors
After the walk/run, explore the waterfront vendor fair with artists showing their homemade goods, informational booths, pet-perfect gifts, food, fun, and of course – adoptable animals from Kitsap Humane Society.
Music, Games, and Waterfront Fun
We’ll start with DJ Big Dog and close out the day with live music from The Harmony Wombats at Liberty Bay Waterfront Park. Come ready for dancing, sing-alongs, giveaways, and—of course—more adoptable pets looking for forever homes.
